  Antonietta Meo's life

Her family

It was an average peaceful family, that lived in Rome in the thirties, with an intense parish life and the habit of saying their rosary "together". Her father, Michele Meo was employed with the Premiership;
Father, mother and sister Margherita
her mother, Maria, looked after the house and brought Margherita (her older daughter) and Nennolina up, but she also managed to take an active part in parish life and in the Azione Cattolica (translator's note: set of secular organizations, under the authority of the Church, with the aim of promoting and defending Catholic principles)'s meetings. Her family lived in a beautiful house and enjoyed a good standard of living, so that they could afford an au pair girl, first Ezia then Caterina, who then became Nennolina's playmate, and remembered a lot of little episodes, which turned out important for the beatification process that began immediately after her death.
